I want every pattern on this site to be a happy, stress-free project. Here are a few things to know before you start.
Patterns and results
All patterns are written with care and checked for stitch counts, but your blanket may turn out a little different from mine. Your yarn, your hook and your tension all play a part. Finished sizes are approximate, and yarn amounts are estimates with a little extra built in, so it’s always a good idea to buy an extra skein.
If you find a mistake in a pattern, please let me know through the Contact page. I correct errors as quickly as I can, and the “Updated” date at the top of the pattern changes when I do.
Photos
The photos on this site are styled illustrations meant to show the look and feel of each blanket. Colors can look different on different screens, and from one yarn brand to another. Some images on this site are created with digital and AI tools to illustrate the patterns.
Safety notes for baby blankets
- Choose soft, machine-washable yarn made for babies.
- Weave in every tail securely, and check your blanket regularly for loose stitches.
- Don’t add buttons, beads or any small decorations: they can be a choking hazard.
- For safe sleep, keep loose blankets out of the crib for babies under 12 months.
